Dragon Ferti evaluated Dragon Elixir on tomato grown under winter greenhouse conditions in the Jordan Valley, Jordan.
The trial assessed its effect on vegetative development, productivity, fruit quality, flowering, fruit set and crop recovery under environmental stress.
Trial details
- Product: Dragon Elixir
- Composition: 8% N + 4% P₂O₅ + 4% K₂O + 33% amino acids (w/v)
- Crop: Tomato
- Location: Jordan Valley, Jordan
- Cultivation: Plastic greenhouse
- Season: Winter
- Application method: Foliar spray
Application program
The trial included three foliar applications at a dose of 400 ml per 200 L of water:
- First application during early vegetative growth
- Second application 14 days after the first
- Third application 14 to 21 days after the second, during flowering or early fruit set
Results
Dragon Elixir produced measurable improvements compared with the control.
| Parameter | Change vs. control |
|---|---|
| Vegetative growth | +12% |
| Average fruit weight | +11% |
| Marketable yield | +15% |
The trial also documented:
- Stronger and more uniform vegetative development
- More vigorous canopy growth and active growing points
- Better flowering continuity
- More uniform fruit set
- Larger and more uniform fruits
- A greater marketable fruit load
- Better visual recovery after environmental stress
Conclusion
Under winter greenhouse conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dragon Elixir supported stronger vegetative development, higher average fruit weight and higher marketable yield.
The results also indicate improvements in reproductive performance, fruit development and crop recovery, which supports Dragon Elixir’s role as an amino-acid-based biostimulant for intensive tomato production.
