Dragon Ferti ran a commercial greenhouse field trial using Dragon Sea 6% K₂O + 12% seaweed extract (w/v) on sweet pepper in the Middle Jordan Valley, Jordan.
The trial evaluated the effect of Dragon Sea on vegetative growth, fruit development, fruit weight, firmness, fruit-wall thickness and visual quality.
Trial setup
- Location: Middle Jordan Valley, Jordan
- Crop: Sweet pepper
- Cultivation: Greenhouse
- Trial area: 3 greenhouses × 500 m²
- Application rate: 150 ml per 100 L of water
Application program
Three applications were made during the crop cycle:
- 3 December 2025, at the beginning of flowering
- 10 December 2025
- 23 December 2025, after the first fruit set
Results
Compared with untreated plants under the same reported trial conditions, Dragon Sea achieved:
| Parameter | Result |
|---|---|
| Vegetative growth | +22% |
| Weight of four fruits | +25% |
| Fruit firmness | Improved |
| Fruit walls | Thicker |
| Fruit gloss | Enhanced |
Trial photographs also document visible differences between control fruit and Dragon Sea-treated fruit under the reported field conditions.
Conclusion
Dragon Sea showed strong performance on greenhouse sweet pepper, supporting both vegetative development and fruit quality.
The trial recorded a 22% increase in vegetative growth and a 25% increase in the measured weight of four fruits, together with firmer fruit, thicker fruit walls and better gloss. These results give practical field evidence for using Dragon Sea as a seaweed-based specialty biostimulant for high-value greenhouse crops.
